This is a remoteposition located within the United States preferably in the Easternor Central Time Zone.
Join our Payroll Specialist team andbecome a key player in our growing Global Business Services (GBS)organization.
As a Workday Functional ExpertSenior Payroll Specialist youll manage payroll operations for ourUS and Canadian operations while serving as a subject matter expert(SME) in Workday functionality within the payroll department.
This role bridges the gap between IT / Technology supportand payroll operations offering exciting opportunities for careergrowth within our organization.
What Youll BeDoing :
- Ensure accurate and timelyprocessing of hourly and salaried payrolls across multiple entitiesand paycycles.
- Drive process optimization in Workday toeliminate manual operations and enhanceefficiency.
- Act as a key player in largescale strategicprojects impacting payrolloperations.
- Conduct proactive audits to ensure dataaccuracy and compliance with SOXregulations.
- Collaborate with IT / Technology teams totroubleshoot Workday softwareissues.
- Handle confidential information securely andassist with yearend taxprocessing.
- Stay updated on federal and state regulationsfor payroll in the US andCanada.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in businessadministration accounting or management information systemspreferred.
- 3 years of experience with WorkdayHCM.
- 1 year supporting WorkdayPayroll.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability tograsp a general knowledge of multiple disciplines andtechnologies.
- Excellent written and oral communicationskills.
Youre ahead of the game if you possess :
- 5 years of experience in payrolloperations.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HR processes andpolicies including Benefits Compensation andReporting.
- Experience with Kronos and ADP is aplus.
Bachelor s degree in business administration,accounting, or management information systems preferred. 3 yearsof experience with Workday HCM.
1 year supporting Workday Payroll.Strong technical aptitude and ability to grasp a general knowledgeof multiple disciplines and technologies.
Strong analytical andinterpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communicationskills. You're ahead of the game if you possess : 5 years ofexperience in payroll operations.
Strong knowledge of Workday HRprocesses and policies, including Benefits, Compensation, andReporting. Experience with Kronos and ADP is a plus.
